Core / Abdominal Strengthening

The “core” is made of up of a variety of abdominal and pelvic floor muscles that protect the spine and ensure effective movement. Core/abdominal strengthening is vital for most diagnoses, especially low back pain, hip pain, balance, and neck pain. There are various exercises that can be prescribed to increase core strength, all of which can be adjusted to be easier or more difficult to meet your needs.
