Range of Motion Exercises

A well-developed physical therapy program consists of variety of exercises. Range of Motion, Balance, and Strengthening are a few of the types of exercises often necessary to provide thorough rehabilitation.

Range of Motion exercises are often done as part of your warm-up routine as well as individual programs. They work to keep your joints moving and prevent stiffness. Proper range of motion is critical to maintaining functionality.

For example, a 110-120 degree range of motion is needed to climb stairs without any modification.
